OUR HISTORY

The Royal Hotel was established in 1848 and is one of Melbourne’s oldest licensed pubs.

 

It is a fun vibrant venue full of entertainment with strip shows and topless barmaids.

 

The Royal is a casual, traditional public bar with a playful atmosphere.

The Royal is a must before any sporting event as we are located across from the MCG and AAMI Park  

 

The Richmond Football Club was officially formed at the Royal Hotel in Richmond on the 20th of February 1885
